The voice actress behind Dragon Ball’s Bulma passes away at 57

It is a sad time for Dragon Ball fans. Tsuru Hiromi, the voice actress behind Bulma, has died at 57. According to, the cause of death is still unknown. Reports said that Tsuru was found unconscious inside her car and was pronounced dead after she was brought to the hospital.

Aside from voicing Bulma, Tsuru was also the voice actress behind Kuonji Ukyo of Ranma 1/2, Mikami Reiko of Sweeper Mikami, among others.

Her stint as the voice actress of Bulma in Dragon Ball lasted for 31 years. Bulma is one of the most popular characters of the anime show. The new Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F movie was recently aired in Hero TV. Bulma is a scientist and the daughter of Capsule Corporation's founder Dr. Brief and his wife Panchy in the series. She was the wife of Vegeta and the mother of Trunks and Bulla.
