Noah Schnapp and Joe Keery graced the AsiaPop Comicon last August 26, 2017, Saturday. Thousands of fans at the SMX Convention Center were delighted to see the stars of the popular Neflix series.

In a panel interview, Noah remarked that his most favorite part of his Manila visit was meeting the Filipino fans. “[It’s] awesome, we love it [here]. The people, they are so nice,” he said.

On the success of the series, Noah confessed that he did not expect that Stranger Things would become such a massive hit here in Asia. “It's like overwhelming and cool and crazy, all the same time. It's like people on the other side of the planet where I've have never ever been, love the show and watch it and they come up to me and say hi and they are all super sweet. And it's just so weird and cool to think about it,” he relayed.

Joe extended his gratitude to the fans for supporting the show. “It’s just  cool that you make a show with just a bunch of people who are trying to kind of make something cool and you got the fans' response, who kinda spread the world about the show. Without you guys this show wouldn’t have done [well], so thanks for you guys,” he stated.

During the panel interview, Noah shared some details about what to expect from his character, Will Byers, in the next season. “When he finally [got] rescued, he gets to be back in the real world and you kind of you’re not yourself again and it's weird for him and for everyone around him. And in the second season, he's kind of dealing with everything and you see how it affected him and it's very scary,” he relayed.

Noah and Joe were also joined by Stranger Things season 2 stars Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink during the panel interview.

Stranger Things is a science fiction-horror Netflix series created, written, directed and co-executive produced by the Duffer Brothers. The show already bagged numerous awards including the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Producers Guild of America and Saturn Awards.
