Arjo Atayde expressed his happiness and elation after signing a contract with the ABS-CBN network. In an interview with Cinemanews, the actor remarked, "Masaya [ako], sobrang saya. I am so happy to be part of the family. Finally, after almost 7 years nakapirma na rin ako sa network."
Arjo will have a series of projects after inking a contract with the Kapamilya station. "We have several plans. Besides The General's Daughter, which is showing next year, [I] will be doing movies. I also have a project on iWant. I am very thankful for all the blessings. Every blessing counts and dinadamdam and ninanamnam ko every step of my journey," he stated.
This December, Arjo will be part of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival movie tited Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles. When it comes to working with his co-stars in the film, Arjo has this to say, "Working with them was fun. It was fun, interesting and exciting so I am ready and pumped for December 25," he said.
Asked if he hopes for their movie to be on the top 3 in the MMFF ranking, he replied, "Everyone wants to be on the top. Only God knows what's about to happen. Bahala na si Lord and hopefully we get into the top 3. But with Coco (Martin), Vic (Sotto) and Maine (Mendoza), I am very confident naman. Let's see about it," he stated.
