Cinema One Originals Film Festival made a lot of buzz this year. It was not only memorable for the Filipino movie enthusiasts but also for the actors who headlined this year’s competing films.

First time namin ‘to lahat, itong mga nangyayari sa ganitong bagay. Sobrang good experience. Hindi ko malilimutan,” she said.
Meanwhile, actor Joem Bascon of Double Twisting Double Back expressed his happiness for being given the opportunity to be part of the film fest, which according to him gives venue for filmmakers and actors to create movies that push the boundaries.
“Sobrang wild siya for me personally. First time ko umattend ng awards night, ng lahat ng mga screenings. For this one we really made it a point to go to the screenings, ‘yung mga gatherings. I am very happy with the Cinema One Originals kasi binigyan kami ng chansang gumawa ng ganitong klaseng materyal, ganito ka-daring na materyal, ganitong bagong platform, bagong idea sa mga tao,” Joem stated.
For Tony of Double Twisting Double Back, being part of the festival was very fulfilling. “Sabi ko kay direk ito ‘yung isa sa mga meaningful na projects na tinanggap ko and I got to experience. I think this project will always be dear to my heart. It was just so fun, everybody was just so kind,” he said.
Nikki Valdez of Pang MMK was all praised for the film fest for giving movie makers a venue to produce incredible stories. “There are so many interesting and enjoyable stories to tell so there's no small or big story kaya nagpapasalamat kami sa Cinema One Originals na there are talented writers and storytellers out there who want to entertain and show their stories so it is a great venue,” she stated.
