Derek Ramsay extended his congratulations to former girlfriend Angelica Panganiban and actor Carlo Aquino who recently made big at the box office with their movie “Exes Baggage.”

In an interview with Cinemanews, Derek said, “Congratulations to them. I heard they really did well. Hindi ko pa napapanood but I want to see it. I heard a lot of great things about the film.”

With rumors circulating that Angelica and Carlo have gotten back together, Derek was asked about his reaction. The actor said that he hopes the rumor is true.

“I always said that I hope Angel finds the right guy and si Carlo, he used to come to the house when Angel and I were dating back then so kilala ko si Carlo and it's nice that they maintained the friendship even nga nong kami pa ni Angelica. I hope [they got back together], I’m a fan. They really looked good together. I hope the rumors are true na nagkabalikan sila,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Derek shared to Cinemanews that he is currently very happy because his son is now living with him.

“He's been living with me now for five months. I took him to school. I enrolled him at Brent… I am blessed now that I have him and I want to stick around and catch up the time that I lost and [do it] slowly. It’s baby steps. Maraming hiccups and bumps along the way but it’s part of it. I had my episodes with my father growing up and I want to give big chunk of my time to being a father,” he said.
