Enrique Gil expressed his elation for his upcoming movie with Liza Soberano under the Black Sheep film outfit. In an interview with Cinemanews, the actor remarked that they are going to portray more mature characters in the film.

“I’m happy right now. We're excited for the movie. We're excited for the fans kasi matagal na silang naghihintay. One thing mas mature kami dito. Hindi ito fairytale. I know mas totoo siya so mas maraming makaka-relate and it's the first time I am teaming up with Black Sheep,” Enrique said.

Meanwhile, Enrique is also excited about his US trip with Liza this Christmas. “Last year kasi Europe kami sa family ko. [This Christmas], sa US sa family niya. Magkikita kami [ng lolo ni Liza] don. Basta mag-i-enjoy kami don,” he said.

Enrique also shared that Liza has to undergo surgery so shooting for Darna has to be postponed at the moment. “She has to go undergo surgey on her finger. Sa Bagani pa po ‘to, matagal na, pero kailangan ma-operahan na para mas maging mabuti siya sa kanyang stunts kasi hindi niya magalaw ‘yung finger niya at tsaka inaayos pa po ‘yung script ng Darna,” he relayed.
